"Ever Hollow" is the story about a unique young man named Auron trying to discover what he is and where he came from. His only clues are rumors about a lost book of forgotten history called "The Book of Origin" and the mysterious stone he's had his whole life.

When returning to Cibarra City after a long trip, he runs into a number of bothersome problems thanks to his loyal mount. One of which, is a girl who looks remarkably like someone from his past.
